This is a video to my Song for the Mekong from the CD Eclectic Mojo. I play all the instruments on this track. The images are mine from when I worked in SE Asia. This is an area of rapid development and economic growth. It seems that traditional scenes and culture that I have photographed here are at risk of being lost to Western modernization. I depict that in the video here, combining scenes from SE Asia and Portland, Oregon at the end of the song. The music also builds throughout the song, mirroring the growth and development that is occurring in the region as the river travels downstream.
